This is how I remember Claussen tasting back in the day. (I feel like Claussen now use more sugar and have more of a preservative flavor than a brine flavor) These have the old school brine flavor. They are really crunchy and crisp. Flavor is mild but through and enjoyable.I would love to have these on a sub.

Sonoma Brinery All Natural Fresh Pickles The Wedge Dill Spears --- Flavor: 6/10 Texture: 8/10 --- Another Sonoma pickle, gotta compare them to each other while we're here right?! These have a strong flavor, celery seed maybe? The texture is still really cucumber so it has a nice crunch. The skin is consistent, not too soft and not to firm, it doesn't separate from the pickle meat which I like. I like them more than the whole pickles.

  Uniquely Gourmet  Coin Cut  What'cha Dill Pickles --- Flavor: 8/10  Texture: 8/10 --- Super vinegary onion flavor, good texture, soft but not  mushy, Tastes a little sour but not mouth puckering. After you eat them and breath out it has a sour after breath. Really delicious flavors, the dill is delicious, I would at a whole jar of this dill by itself.
