Sour Puss Pickles

  Woodstock Eat because it's good  I'm kind of a Big Dill  Organic Whole Kosher Dill Pickles --- Flavor: 7/10  Texture: 8/10 --- Good glob this label has alot going on. I also read the first part as "Eat because Woodstock its good". Really good smell when you open the jar, salty, good texture, nice crunchy skin and meat. Crunchy but not hard, almost tastes like it would be too briny or too salty but isn't. I don't know if they deserve all the literature on the jar like this though....

  Yee Haw Pickle Co  No Frills Dills --- Flavor: 5/10  Texture: 4/10 --- Super squishy meat, like an overly ripened avocado. The skin is much firmer than the meat so it gives you a weird rind feeling to it. Flavor is basic and while there is alot of spice at the bottom of the jar, there's not much in the pickles themselves.

  Kroger  Whole Kosher Dill  Cocktails --- Flavor: 6/10  Texture: 7/10 --- Skin and meat same texture. Lots of warts to the outside of it. Pretty basic pickle, nothing of notable record but good for snacking

  Food Cell Pickled Cucumbers --- Flavor: 6/10  Texture: 5/10 --- Super salty, vinegar is potent, I had them out of the fridge for a bit, so I wonder if that altered the flavor any. They have a slight citrus flavor. I want to try again but cut them up and maybe see if it is recommend to eat with WITH something like spices or kimchi or how they are on the bag. Maybe these are to be an ingredient rather than a straight pickle.

  Steamy's  Salty Dill Pickles  No Pepper --- Flavor: 7/10  Texture: 7/10 --- Super salty, like boiled peanuts. Meat is a little soft but not off putting. Th skin has a good texture. I like the thick slices/chunks. It says "no pepper" on the jar, I wonder if there is a pepper version.

  Harris Teeter  Whole Kosher Dill  Baby Pickles --- Flavor: 5/10  Texture: 5/10 --- Soft but not squishy, skin and meat have same texture, they taste like maybe they want to be sweet but never were. The flavors are different before and after eating on your breath.

      Simple Truth Organic  Kosher Dill Pickles (Baby) --- Flavor: 4/10  Texture: 6/10 --- Regarding texture, there is no difference in skin and meat. Brine-y taste, vinegar tasting maybe? Can't determine what the flavor is but it doesn't stand out as an obvious one. Taste like a pirate pickle, Fishy or seaweed flavor, sort of has a sushi aftertaste on breath

  Wickles  Dirty Dill  Baby Dills --- Flavor: 5/10  Texture: 6/10 --- Skin and meat are same texture like other gherkins. Has a spicy taste but not throughout the whole pickle, just the juice on the outside. Its like they were pickled then put into spicy pickle juice.

  Great Value  Whole Dill Pickles --- Flavor: 6/10  Texture: 8/10 --- Strong bite of flavor, sharp? These are really crunchy as well.  Tart/sour, but no spice notes or flavors. Nothing remarkable or notable but not bad in any way.

  Grillo's Fresh  Pickle Chips  Classic Dill --- Flavor: 6/10  Texture: 6/10 --- Cold pickles, have to stay in the fridge. Taste similar to Claussen with a salty almost lime flavor. Skin is super tough and separates from meat but stays in tact like a rubber band. I like the meat texture but the skin staying in tact like a bologna skin is something I could do without.

  Pampa  Sandwich Slices  Pickles --- Flavor: 5/10  Texture: 6/10 --- The seeds all fall out and are very loose.  Has texture of an avocado I like it in a weird way.  Basic flavor like a generic pickle

  Uniquely Gourmet  Coin Cut  What'cha Dill Pickles --- Flavor: 8/10  Texture: 8/10 --- Super vinegary onion flavor, good texture, soft but not  mushy, Tastes a little sour but not mouth puckering. After you eat them and breath out it has a sour after breath. Really delicious flavors, the dill is delicious, I would at a whole jar of this dill by itself.

Carroll's Sausage & Country Store  Hamburger Dill Pickles --- Flavor: 5/10  Texture: 4/10 --- Skin has good texture and meat is super squishy, so much so that it falls apart in hand. Almost sweet but somehow not? Not salty? not vinegar-y wither? Really hard to describe, no real notes of flavor but not bad? Something to occupy your mouth I guess  

  Nathan's Famous  New York Kosher Spears --- Flavor: 6/10  Texture: 8/10 --- Crisp like a fresh cucumber but very bland in flavor Similar to a to Claussen.  Salty, garlicky, but not much vinegar. There’s not a big vinegar taste.  It taste like it wants to be a Claussen. Would be a good deli pickle

We're Nuts  Farmhouse Pickles --- Flavor: 5/10  Texture: 8/10 --- Skin has a distinct different texture than the meat.  Meat is soft, meat is more firm. Ok flavor, leaves a strong onion flavor on breath.  Spicy but not hot. I don't normally like carrots but I really liked the carrots in this  

Vlasic  Fresh Packed  Polish Dill Spears --- Flavor: 6/10  Texture: 8/10 --- Slightly peppery, not in a red pepper sense, but more cracked black pepper taste.  Good Crunch, which they state on the jar.  Skin and meat have good texture, not too firm or squishy.   

  Kroger  Whole Kosher  Baby Dills --- Flavor: 6/10  Texture: 8/10 --- Skin and meat have same texture, no difference between the two.  They have a texture to them like biting into a fresh uncut tomato.
